This fund invests
100% in
Spanish equities, seeking undervalued companies with large long-term
upside potential.
It is an
active managed
mutual fund whose objective is to achieve maximum capital appreciation
and minimal risk over the long term. In 2002 it was the only mutual fund on the
Spanish stock exchange (apart from Bestinfond) to achieve a
positive return.
Appropriate for investors
wishing to invest in Spanish equities with an investment horizon of at least
five
years.
The fund's prospectus
contemplates investing up to 10% in other assets without losing its status as a
Sapanish Equity mutual fund. Therefore in January 2007 our fund managers began
investing in companies listed on the Portuguese stock exchange (investment will
range from 0 to 10%, depending on market opportunities).
